Terms and conditions

These terms explain what this website is, what information you will find on it and how we handle the details you send us when you request a meeting. Please read them before writing to us.

01

Acceptance of these terms

By accessing and using this website you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the site.

This site is operated by Lombard Capital Partners, an independent investment advisory firm based in Santiago, Chile.

These terms apply to every section of the site, in both its Spanish and English versions, and cover the contact form and the virtual assistant.

02

Nature of the information on this site

All information published here is general and for information purposes only. It describes how Lombard Capital Partners works and does not constitute an offer, an invitation to contract, or a personalised investment recommendation.

Nor does it constitute tax, accounting or legal advice. For those matters you should consult your own advisers; where appropriate, we coordinate our work with them.

All investment carries risk, including the loss of capital. Past performance does not guarantee future results, and nothing on this site should be read as a projection of return.

No investment decision should be taken on the basis of this site alone. Any recommendation we make follows an individual assessment of your objectives, time horizon, liquidity needs and tolerance for risk.

The virtual assistant offers general guidance drawn from the content published on this site. Its answers may contain inaccuracies, are not personalised advice and do not bind Lombard Capital Partners.

03

Scope of the service

Lombard Capital Partners provides investment advisory services to individuals, families and companies. We advise on how wealth is allocated; the final decision always rests with the client.

We are not a bank, a stockbroker or a fund manager. We do not hold client money or securities, we do not manage third-party accounts and we do not execute transactions on our clients' behalf.

Our independence is part of the service: we do not distribute in-house products and we receive no commissions or retrocessions from asset managers, banks or brokers for recommending their products.

An advisory relationship is established through a written, individual agreement between the client and Lombard Capital Partners, which sets out the scope of the mandate. Using this site or sending the form does not by itself create an advisory relationship.

04

Use of the site and the contact form

This is a corporate website: it describes our service and allows you to request a meeting. It requires no registration and no account.

You agree to use the site lawfully, without interfering with its operation or its security, without attempting to reach restricted areas and without extracting its content by automated means.

The details you provide in the form must be accurate and your own, or those of someone who has authorised you to provide them. We use them to answer your enquiry and arrange the meeting.

Please do not send sensitive information, passwords, account numbers or confidential documents through the form or the assistant. Those matters are reviewed in a meeting, through channels agreed with you.

Receiving and answering an enquiry does not imply that a mandate has been accepted. Lombard Capital Partners may decline to take a meeting request forward.

05

Personal data

We handle your personal data in accordance with Law No. 19,628 on the protection of private life, which is the legislation currently in force in Chile. Law No. 21,719 comes into force on 1 December 2026; from that date we will adapt this site and our practices to its requirements.

We collect only the details you give us yourself: full name, email address, telephone number, the profile you select and the message you write. We do not obtain your information from other sources.

The purpose is a narrow one: to answer your enquiry and arrange a first meeting. We do not use your details for mass commercial mailings or to build profiles for advertising purposes.

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with third parties for commercial purposes. It is accessible only to the providers of our hosting and email services, who act on our behalf and on our instructions.

Enquiries you type into the virtual assistant are processed through an external technology provider in order to generate the reply. For that reason, please do not include personal data about other people or confidential information there.

We keep the details submitted through the form while we deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards, so the conversation can continue. If you become a client, they are kept for the duration of the relationship and for the periods required by law. They are then deleted.

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation and objection by writing to cdiazdevaldes@lombardcp.cl, identifying yourself and stating clearly what you are requesting. We reply within the periods set by law.

We apply reasonable safeguards to the information we receive. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

06

Cookies and analytics

The site uses technical cookies that are necessary for it to work: maintaining your browsing session and remembering the language you selected.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If analytics is added later, it will be aggregate measurement intended to understand general use of the site, not to identify an individual.

You can block or delete cookies from the privacy settings of your browser, whether Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox. If you disable technical cookies, some features of the site may stop working.

07

Intellectual property

The texts, the Lombard Capital Partners name and logo, the diagrams, the selection of content and the design of the site belong to Lombard Capital Partners or are used with the permission of their owners.

You may read, print and quote this content for personal use, citing the source. It may not be reproduced, distributed, modified or used for commercial purposes without the written consent of Lombard Capital Partners.

Photographs remain the property of their respective authors and are used under the relevant licences.

08

Links to third-party sites

The site may include links to third-party pages, such as professional profiles or reference publications. They are offered purely as a reference for those who wish to read further.

We do not control those sites and accept no responsibility for their content, their availability, their privacy practices or the services they offer. Access to them is entirely at your own risk.

09

Limitation of liability

We work to keep the site available and its content accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or freedom from error. Access may be suspended for maintenance or for technical reasons.

The site may contain typographical errors or information that becomes out of date. We correct these as soon as we identify them, without this giving rise to liability for Lombard Capital Partners.

Lombard Capital Partners accepts no liability for investment or other decisions taken solely on the information published here, without a prior individual assessment and without a written advisory agreement.

Nor are we liable for loss arising from an inability to reach the site, from interruption of the service, or from malicious software originating outside our control.

10

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions when the site, the service or the applicable regulations change. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with its date of last update.

We suggest you review it from time to time. If you continue using the site after an update, we understand that you accept the version then in force.

11

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile.

Any dispute over their interpretation or application will be submitted to the ordinary courts of justice sitting in the city of Santiago, without prejudice to the rights granted to consumers by law.

12
